Copyright Friendly Sources
The Creative Commons is a website that intends to help computer users manage their intellectual property. It offers a method by which users can state what kind of restrictions are placed on their creative work without actually copyrighting the work. Generally the restrictions are some combination of the following:
Attribution: the requirement that the author of the work be given credit.
Share Alike: the work must be shared with the same creative commons restrictions as it was received with.
No Derivatives: the work cannot be altered when it is shared.
Non-Commercial: no money can be made off of the use of the work.
