Invitation Assignment
One way to learn about HTML code is to edit existing code. In this assignment you are going to edit the code for a party invitation. Follow the directions below to complete the assignment. Be prepared to experiment a little!
1. Create a new folder called invitation.
2. Copy the cowboy image below by right clicking on pic and choosing "Save Link As", "Save Image As", or "Save As".

3. Save the file in the invitation folder. Change the file name to "cowboyPic.jpg" (without the quotes).
4. Save the code in this file to the same invitation folder, naming it with your name and the word invitation followed by the extension .html. (like...hermanet_invitation.html)
5. Your assignment is to change the theme of the invitation from a cowboy to something else. Stay school appropriate.
6. Change the colors for the page background, table background, and text.
7. Change the size and type of font.
8. Change the wording on the invitation to make it a party for you.
9. Find an image on the internet that works with your theme and save it to the invitation folder. Copy the web address so you can cite the source.
10. Replace the image on the page with your new image.
11. Replace the citation at the bottom of the screen with the web address where you found your image.
12. View the page to make sure everything looks nice. Make sure the colors don't clash and that the text is easy to read.
13. Hand in the assignment by uploading the folder to your web design Google Drive shared folder.
