Memories
Pictures and objects can be powerful engines for drawing out memories. It's one of the reasons we acquire souvenirs when we travel.
In this project, you are to set up a situation where the main character touches a photograph (or meaningful object) and this contact initiates either a dream sequence or a memory of some past event. You will need to use some special effects to communicate when the dream portion of the film is occurring. The dream portion of the story may be shot in the third person or entirely from the character's point of view. Finish the film with a return to reality and an action or reaction by the main character. This action/reaction should be connected to the subject of the dream sequence.
My recommendation is that you begin by identifying a photo or object of some importance to you and then think about how to communicate the feelings or memories it brings up in you.
