Now that we've explored the basic technological environment we live in, have honed our internet searching skills, and learned about copyright and plagiarism, let's use the personalized tools developed in our last unit to research online safety. Consider setting up a couple of RSS feeds on your topic to collect information from the web automatically.
Your task is to discover internet sources dealing with some aspect of internet safety. The goal is to comprehensively cover internet safety as a class so each student's subject should be unique. Possible topics are listed below.

- A link to a useful video or interactive online game on the subject that someone else created.
- A summary video on the topic that you create using My Simple Show . See the example below. The content on your video should be your original writing, not a copy/paste of what others have written (Remember the definition of plagiarism?). In covering the topic include a definition/description of the topic as well as some useful advice.
- A resource list of at least 3 relevant sites, properly cited as we discussed in our Copyright Unit. Maybe use the Son of Citation Machine.
