How to use a Chomebook for html editing:
1. You'll need an Integrated Development Environment (IDE) or text editor. One option is the CARET extension for the Chrome browser.
2. Saved html files must be downloaded to your local Chromebook device, and cannot be viewed as webpages from your Google Drive. To do this, right click on the .html file and choose DOWNLOAD. This will send the file to the download folder. Then if you right click on the file in the download folder you can choose VIEW to see it in the browser.
**Make sure that while you're editing, that you are editing the version of the file in the downloads folder and that you upload your completed work to your drive for permanent storage when you are done with that editing session.
