Hierarchical: The web pages are linked in a top-down structure so that there is a tree-like organization. This structure allows for information to be accessed in a variety of ways depending on the user's interests/needs.
Mixed: Some combination of the linear and hierarchical structure is used in the site. Typically, the user encounters a hierarchical structure at the top levels of the site and a more linear structure at the bottom levels of the site as the information gets more detailed.
